We Won! Everybody Can Go Home!
by Don Nash
According to Global Peace Index, the United States ranks number 96 among nations that are “peaceful. Wow, that’s not too bad considering that Sudan ranked number 120 and was dead last on Global Peace Index’s list. Cambodia ranked number 85 and Cuba ranked in at number 59. The freaking United Kingdom ranked in at number 49 and how in hell did that happen? Wasn’t the U.K. part of Bush’s “coalition of the willing that went in and waxed genocidal on Iraq? Hell, the U.S. ranked just one better than Iran that came in at number 97. Israel ranked one above Sudan and came in at number 119. Doesn’t that just figure. Russia was one better than Israel and ranked 118.
Our world’s number one ranked “peaceful nation in the whole wide world is Norway. Norway? So there you go. We’re number 96! We’re number 96! Yeah, in your face Norway! Golly, did I get that right? Somehow it all seems sort of ass-backwards. Egypt is considered a “more peaceful nation than the U.S.. What? How can that be? Why, the U.S. is in the middle of a raging genocidal shock and awe on that nasty Iraq. Hey, Iraq isn’t even on the Global Peace Index’s list. What’s up with that? Iraq isn’t “peaceful enough to even make the list? Gosh, now why would that be?
Now here’s the killer. Germany is ranked number 12 on the GPI list. Twelfth! Yeah, those post Nazi Jew killing swine ranked higher than the U.S.. Oh wait, I’m probably not supposed to mention that WW II indelicacy. You know, how Nazi Germany killed all those innocent Jews? Time and the tides can wash away just about any atrocity and move one up the old GPI “peace list. See now Israel should take a hint from Germany and stop killing and ethnically cleansing the Palestinians. Israel might just be able to move up the list a notch or so after about sixty years. Hey Olmert, cop a clue you genocidal bastard!
Now the point to all of this is coming up right about now. Reuters reported on July 21, 2007 that the number of attacks against “coalition troops in Iraq was at 5,335 for the month of June 2007. That “attack number breaks down to 177.83 attacks on “coalition troops per day. Damn! That’s a precipitous number of attacks on the “troops. Mercy! Now, Gen. Somebody Odierno of U.S. Military High Command told the Christian Science Monitor that the “violence in Iraq was on the “descending. Al-righty then. Now, the number of troops killed in Iraq for the month of July 2007 was at 78 and that’s according to Juan Cole and Professor Cole was quoting from the Houston Chronicle. The Houston Chronicle has pulled the link that Professor Cole was using and doesn’t that just figure. I trust Juan Cole and his numbers implicitly. In July of 2006, the number of U.S. troops that had been killed for that month of July, was at 43. Now that’s an almost 100% increase in killed from 2006 to 2007 for the month of July. So what in hell was Gen. Somebody Odierno talking to the CSM about? Meaningless spin and nauseating drivel. That’s what Gen. Somebody Odierno is talking to the CSM about. Bullshit! Or as it’s known in the military, a blivet. Now a blivet is ten pounds of bullshit pounded inside a 5 pound bag. Or in Odierno’s case, “violence is on the descending and military deaths are decreasing. You see? Bullshit. Mountains and mountains of military bullshit. However in your everyday ordinary vernacular, that’s referred to as casualties. You know, mothers that don’t get to see their children anymore on account of their having been killed in G. Bush’s bullshit genocidal war of naked aggression on a nation that didn’t even make the GPI’s list of “peaceful nations. TAH-DAH! I made the connection from Global Peace Index rankings to Bush’s failure lovingly known as Iraq. That did take some work and I admit that freely. Unlike one Gen. Somebody Odierno, blivets, and bullshit.
So in summation, Bush should just declare Iraq as won. Not like that “Mission Accomplished bullshit from 2003. Bush should level with the American people and tell us that he’s screwed the pooch from day one on this one and well, sorry about that! Sorry to all the mourning mothers and fathers, the widows, wives, and lovers, the children without fathers and mothers, and America in overall and in general. Bush should just own the bank and be done with it.
However, G. Bush will have to face the nice judges that man the bench at the International Criminal Court at the Hague. Bush can do that just as soon as he’s finished with his impeachment trial in the U.S. Senate. Hey Pelosi? Do you think that you can manage that for the American people or do we have to take you by the hand and walk you through it? Just asking you stupid cow.
You see, Bush will have to be tried for crimes against humanity. As will Prick Cheney and Colin Powell and Condo Rice the Queen of Diplomatic Cannibalism and that affront to intellectual honesty, John ‘balls’ Bolton. We can’t include I. ‘Scooter’ Libby on this deal. Nope. He got that bullshit “commutation from G. Bush. Insufferable little pricks and that would include Bush, Cheney, and Libby.
So there you have it. We won and now, everybody can go home. Golly, wasn’t that easy?
