Fear And Loathing In The Green Zone

Hunter S.? You are sorely missed. The Bush administration and the heart of darkness. It’s a natural fit. Satanic? Yes, the Bushistas are satanic and worse than satanic. The hands of political sycophants are dripping the blood of innocents just about anywhere they stand. Nothing is holy for them that are demonically demented and those that would profess to being “holy� are lying deceivers that have sold their putrid souls for a song and dance routine that isn’t fit for Fox TV. Remember when Jerry Falwell was to return America to that “Judeo-Christian ethic?� How’s hell fat man? American government is run amok and our “sacred� Constitution lays raped and shredded in a gutter that is watched over by Fredo Gonzales. What a smarmy little weasel. Would it be time for a return to the days of the guillotine?
America is swamped by a corruption of government that is uniquely skewed towards the enrichment of special interest/corporate fascists. War profiteering is come into vogue and U.S. Senators are enriched by the very war they refuse to end. Hey Senator Comb-over Carl, what crawled up your butt? How’s your war profiteering margin on this fine day? Yeah, keep those troops in Iraq. How the hell can it matter to you? You get yours and America’s service boys and girls get to die and worse. Is being left a fleshy stump what our glorious U.S. Senate would deem to be “sacrifice?� Sure seems obviously more like a simplistic waste of life and limb. But then, Senators and Congress-creeps don’t have to play those horrifically ugly little Bush war games. Nah, America’s governing elite are tucked safe and comfy cozy in the hallowed halls of America’s Congress. The governing elite don’t sacrifice THEIR children hell no, they’re special and privileged and “sacred� and above the blood, carnage, horror, and madness. The U.S. Senate changed their ‘official’ imprimatur to read, “we’ll kill your children no matter the cost to us!�
Then there’s the torture. The torture that the Bushistas deny. The Congress denies. The bodies of those horribly tortured would report otherwise but hell, they’re just Muslims and no one in America believes Muslims anyway. Muslims are al-Qaeda and the proof to that disclaimer is in the detention. America wouldn’t detain just anyone. Well, excepting Jose Padilla of course. Had Jose Padilla been Cuban and tangled up with that Posada chump well then, it would all somehow be different. How come no one ever makes a ruckus about Cuban illegals in Miami?
Oh yes, that fear and loathing thing is belonging to U.S. Embassy employees in the Green Zone Baghdad. George ‘butchering’ Bush’s very own re-creation of hell on earth. Seems the U.S. Embassy in the Baghdad Green Zone isn’t so “surged� up as mainstream media has been pimping up the volume for. Leila Fadel writing for Knight-Ridder from Iraq posted a nifty little report titled ‘U.S. Embassy employees fearful over Green Zone attacks’. Knight-Ridder is now McClatchy Newspapers. Personally, I could care less. They’ll always be Knight-Ridder. Give Ms. Fadel’s posting a look see. The State Department saps aren’t so happy and could easily mutiny at a drop of the next mortar round. Seems the Green Zone safe haven is taking incoming on a daily scheduling. One Embassy staffer bitched about having to sleep in a trailer described as a “tin can.� Hmm, probably hot as blazes too. Don’t you just feel ever so sorry for the prisoners of Green Zone Embassy? Gosh, I might if the Congress set the example. One U.S. Embassy official called the situation “criminally negligent� and blamed the Bush administration’s “failure� to respond to their concerns. Awww, poor babies. They’re just suffering so. Rockets and mortars and suicide bombers and they can’t get away from the Green Zone. Why would that be? Sen. Olympia Snowe (R-Maine) stated that “conditions inside the Green Zone were infinitely worse than she’d experienced during last year’s visit.� Yeah, whatever. Let’s all feel ever so badly for the freaking mess that is the work of George Bush and our wondrous Congress. Lying, butchering bastards every last one.

Rejecting the recommendations of a sub-committee, Representatives Ellen Tauscher (D-CA) and Rep. Rick Larsen (D-WA) restored $150 million to Pentagon “boost phase” missile defense programs, $48 million for future missile defense systems, including space sensors, $12 million more for sea-based sensors and language to allow $160 million for a highly controversial European missile defense site.

Too bad globalsecurity.org doesn’t utilize articles like that above? They might go further to reduce our demonistic reliance of nuclear weapons of mass destruction.
Sometimes I can’t tell whether the webmasters of this site are really keeping to their mission of reducing reliance on nuclear weapons or the opposite…so many of the items seem to be from the various “spin” groups–most at fault on that being the many & various “official” Pentagon/Military/Gov itself which are known to have plenty of means of convincing folk that we need war, war and more war…which is leading quickly to nuclear vehicles of mass destruction everywhere. Well take a look and see the plans anyway.
